Senior Pastor
Senior Pastor Glen Weber has been in full-time pastoral ministry for more than 35 years. He has been married to
his wife, Connie, for 34 years and they have two married sons and one granddaughter.
Glen grew up on a farm in southeastern Wyoming (near Wheatland), the oldest of six children. Connie grew up in
a small rural town (Haxtun) in the middle of irrigated farms on the plains of northeastern Colorado. Their
families knew each other for nearly twenty years before they began to date.
Glen received his college education in England and began his full-time ministry interning with pastors in
northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. In 1974 he was invited to intern with a pastor in Kelowna,
British Columbia, Canada. In the spring of 1975, after marrying Connie, they planted a new congregation in
Castlegar, B.C., in southeastern British Columbia, where their two sons were born. After serving the Castlegar
congregation for over three years they moved to Prince George, B.C. (8 years), Regina, Saskatchewan (7 years),
Red Deer, Alberta (2 years), Spokane, Washington (10+ years) and Vancouver, WA (2+ years).
New Hope called Glen as Senior Pastor in September 2008.
Glen has also served in denominational administration in several capacities. For many years in the late 1980’s
and most of the 1990’s he served the denomination in planning for major church conventions held each fall for
over 2,000 attendees. More recently, he served for two years as the District Pastoral Leader for the
congregations in the NW district of Washington and Oregon. After moving to New Hope he became the District
Pastoral Leader for the SW district consisting of congregations in Las Vegas, NV, Arizona and New Mexico. Glen
also serves on the denominations Church Multiplication Ministries team, working to develop church planting within
the Worldwide Church of God denomination.
Pastor Glen’s primary focus in ministry has two aspects – loving people with the love of Jesus and teaching
everyone to realize that the Father has chosen to adopt us through Jesus Christ coming to earth in flesh.
You have been adopted – we offer you a “new hope” that you will accept your place in the family!
